 | Urkoppling
electroacoustic composition, 11', 2016 | Fascinated by the environment and community of the Swedish studio EMS, which I visited in August 2016, I created this composition over night using a Serge analog modular synthesizer.
In Swedish, Urkoppling stands for „disconnection“. The composition is based on a chosen structure of analog electroacoustic sound and gradually, thanks to improvised modification of the modular patch, its esthetics touches various genres of electronic music, which I perceived specific for the community of EMS (noise, drone, techno).
